New York’s top-of-the-line webcam has been the subject of some serious speculation since it was unveiled last year.
Now, a video posted by the New York Daily News shows the set, which was built for $9,500,000 and boasts a “10-year warranty,” has been priced up to $6,000 a pop.
The New York Observer reports that the webcam set will run for $6K and has been designed with the goal of being the most expensive webcam ever built.
The camera is set to go on sale this month.
The webcam is the latest in a long line of products that have gone on sale in New York.
The first webcam was launched in 2009 by a group of tech-savvy men who hoped it would give New Yorkers a new and fun way to watch the big game, and was promptly criticized by fans for being a “lousy product.”
