By the end of the first month of the year, the Tomb Raider VR experience is on track to surpass the 1.5 million-player mark.
The game, which debuted this week in the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, is currently the most popular VR title available on Steam.
The PC version is on a par with its PlayStation 4- and Xbox One-exclusive predecessor, the Oculus Cave Story.
With an additional $20 in DLC, the game now comes to $75.
As the title suggests, the new version of the game adds a few more options to the mix, including a more detailed world map and a larger map, though they are all optional and can be disabled.
There are also some new visual options added to the game, including more realistic reflections, which add a whole new level of immersion to a virtual world.
And unlike its predecessors, the VR version of Tomb Raider now features the ability to zoom in and out on objects, making it a much more immersive experience than the original.
